Common Sense, unless you disagree

Common Sense

Too many leaders refer to “common sense” solutions when they can’t defend those solutions. If more than 50% of Americans disagree with them, can they truly be “common sense”?. An overwhelming majority (at least 66%) of Americans would agree with a truly common sense position. Yet, leaders continue to use the term when 50% or more people don’t agree with them. Such leaders simply believe that those who don’t agree with them are too stupid to have views worthy of consideration.
